Q. How long do I have to wait for my car? If the car is a standard car without extras we may well be able to obtain one within 3 - 4 weeks and sometimes even less. However some models are in short supply with no stock being available. In which case they will need to be ordered and delivery can take up to 8 - 12 weeks dependent upon manufacturer. Q. Are the cars grey imports? No, all new cars are supplied through the UK dealer network. Q. Can we collect the car? In most cases arrangements can be made to collect the car from a main dealer within a reasonable distance from you. Unfortunately, this is not always the case as some vehicles are ordered centrally through a large dealer group. Q. Is there a delivery charge involved? Delivery charges for new cars depend upon the make of car and location of the dealer, however, in most cases there is no charge. Any charges will be discussed with you at the time of order. Q. If there happens to be a problem or fault with the car, who do i contact? All cars are supplied with the full manufacturer?s warranty. If you have an issue with the car, please contact your local franchise dealer for that particular manufacturer. Please note:- That the car must be serviced in accordance with the manufacturer?s handbook to maintain the warranty. Q. Do you supply automatics? Yes we can supply automatics. If they are not shown on the website please ask. Q. Do I need to go to a dealer for the service? It is advisable whilst the vehicle is still under warranty but ultimately it is your choice. A main dealer will have all the necessary equipment and the latest information on cars in which they specialise. Q. Will it affect the warranty if I do not use a main dealer? Provided the car is serviced in accordance with the service schedule using manufacturer?s approved parts and lubricants, the warranty remains valid. As a minimum, the garage completing the service should be VAT registered and be able to provide evidence of the materials used. If there is a major warranty issue, the manufacturer will investigate previous service history to ensure that the correct steps were completed. Q. Will you accept a trade in? We always suggest that you sell your car privately since you are likely to get a better price. If you would rather not do so, we will obtain a bid for your car from a trader which we will pass on to you. |
